Engagement photos
I have the honour of taking the Engagement photos and photographing the upcoming wedding of these two beautiful souls.
They are both such incredible people, and their LOVE for each other is completely out there , beyond the sky, beyond the stars, Flick flacking across the galaxy.
Their story touches my heart and I am so happy they have found each other.
They chose the spot they got engaged at , to take the pre wedding engagement photos, and brought the dog kids with of course.
Dogs are always such a great addition to any photo shoot. I LOVE DOGS!!
And for me Golden light and natural settings, like this beautiful Slangkop lighthouse spot, go really well together. I love shooting at the end of the day for the best light, or right at sunrise .
This couple had an effortless intimacy with each other that I really loved capturing.
WHY DO AN ENGAGEMENT SHOOT:
1.) It’s as simple as this, I believe: to authentically document your unique and beautiful love and this season of abundant emotion.
2.) I do think an engagement session can be great for getting comfortable with your photographer and how we work as well.
3.) The purpose of these shoots is multi-faceted. But what I truly believe is that couples should go into them hoping for so much more; a chance to dig deep into their love and memorialize it as it is this day.

Your wedding photographer is the person who will be with you from getting ready all the way through the reception, so getting to know them , feeling sure about their style and personality, and creating a genuine relationship will only result in more beautiful images on the big day. And giving them time to get you know you, your best angles, and how you work in front of the camera in invaluable.
5.) But aside from the nitty-gritty, the heart and soul of an engagement photo session is truly about celebrating the beginning of this next chapter of your lives. You’ll be married for a long time, but the engagement period typically lasts just about a year, so savor this special time and create tangible reminders of these special moments.
