Travel photography for a family on holiday in Cape Town

The best part of travel photography, for me, is that I just love photographing families.

Being able to offer travel photography for families on holiday bring such joy as I feel I am capturing their love and connection. I believe it’s part of my service to humankind. Devoting that pocket of time to documenting true and genuine unconditional love.

The families then get a life long gift of photos of their time together.

As a photographer in Cape Town I have found some wonderful locations to shoot. We truly are blessed in this beautiful city. We have bright sunrises over the ocean and breathtaking sunsets over the ocean too (how many cities can boast that!) We have beaches, mountains, vineyards, animal farms, an abundance of kids play areas to choose from. When I meet families I learn about what they love and we then find a location to shoot that reflects who they are as a family.

One of my favourite things to do when I was a kid was to page through our family photo albums. Travel photography is a priceless journey back in time.

Now my entire immediate family is out of the country , so I am sensitive and aware of the details of love and what it means to be together , in the present.

What a blessing to be able photograph families and do the most amazing family photo shoots in beautiful locations around the city.

This family was visiting from abroad and we did the shoot in the comfort of their holiday home.
